23. What do you need from us?
I sure do! I know many speakers say they customize, but to them, that means they sprinkle in the name of your organization/school and charge you extra to pronounce it right. Here’s how I do it: 1) I do a computer search for your university, college or organization; 2) When possible, I conduct phone interviews with meeting committee members and audience members (sometimes I incorporate their quotes into color visuals and/or handout materials); 3) I review your trade publications; 4) You get handout materials that reflect the theme of your meeting or special event, and 5) Titles and subjects are customized to your event.
My presentation will be designed to fit your available time, can be from 10 minutes to multiple days. I am also experienced and flexible enough to adapt when my segment needs to be cut or expanded unexpectedly. I will do whatever I can to accommodate your needs.
The fact that I’ve addressed a wide range of audiences (more than 35 different groups within the higher education, student development, student-athlete, student leadership, and parent development fields) is a big part of my value to your university, college or trade school. Every group is different, but I have found that we face many similar challenges. In my areas of expertise, I bring the best of “what works” from other universities, colleges, organizations, and fields to your group.
Many colleges or higher education associations that hire me to do a keynote presentation or general sessions also have me do a breakout or multiple sessions at the same event. This gets you a significant discount on the second presentation and saves you travel and additional expenses by not having to bring in a second or third speaker/trainer.
If you give me a group that is awake, engaged, and somewhat happy to be there, you will get a top-notch, effective presentation every time, or you will get your money back. I will assist you in room set-up, timing, and logistical parameters to optimize your meeting or event.
I have combined my diverse background (military service, corporate human resources, corporate training and development, outside sales account manager, sales trainer, office manager, project manager, entrepreneur, organizational development consultant, and behavior and success habits development consultant) with practical field experience to develop a unique and exciting presentation and consultant style that benefits my client’s consistently.
Presently, as an outcomes-based focused full-time organizational and success habits development consultant, and professional keynote speaker, my team here at InspiraGen Institute, LLC has a known ‘highly sought-after’ national reputation for assisting our clients in achieving measurable, efficient, cohesive, positive, significant, and great results.
Sometimes. Some factors that can come into play when securing me for your meeting date: travel logistics, schedules, multiple bookings, early payment, product purchases, marketing letters, bartering, and recording are just some of the items that can become items of discussion.
If you book me for two programs at the same event, you will save the travel costs for an additional speaker, and there can usually be an adjustment in the fee for the second program. Ty’s Investment (Fee) Schedule
May we video or audio record Ty’s presentation?
Special written permission and a signed ‘Recording Consistent Agreement’ must be obtained through my business office for the rights to video and audio record any of my presentations or guest appearances. There will be a surcharge for obtaining these rights. The surcharge will depend on how the tapes will be used.
In 21 years, I have skillfully engaged and held the inspired attention of higher education faculty and staff on all levels, and the engaging attention of college students (undergraduate, graduate, Ph.D. candidate, student leaders, student-athletes, first-year experience). It all depends on the subject/topic of my presentation.
With student groups, I scale up my relatable stories, engagement, real-world teaching points, and learning activities; with higher education faculty and staff members, I engage them with substance, passion, and organizational and success habits development strategies that help them to grow, lead, inspire, and consistently achieve the desired results of your university, college, trade school or association.
I use coach airfares whenever possible. You will never have to deal with meal charges, frills, or surprises!

I am available for hire throughout the State of Maryland, United States (nationwide), South America, Canada, and a few select international countries.
When it comes to leadership, I focus on five things: 1) developing leadership talent, 2) increasing inspirational leadership, 3) improving and streamlining effective communication, 4) building very successful and diverse leadership teams and 5) bringing back and keeping civility and compassion in leadership. We work with organizations at all levels to build leaders who will have an inspirational impact today and empower those leaders to build a talent pipeline of healthy leaders for tomorrow. I hold leaders accountable to create extraordinary outcomes, engagement, innovation, opportunities, and productivity, and believe that everyone can lead from whatever position they currently hold within an organization or life.
Yes. Student-athletes hunger for inspiration, motivation, and practical success strategies that can help to succeed on the field/court, in the classroom, and in life.
I have engaging and energizing presentations to aid student-athletes in the areas of leadership, self-esteem, student success, civility, communication, accountibility, mental health, positive thinking, reputation management, hazing awareness and prevention, safe dating, Opioid abuse prevention, suicide prevention, career planning, and personal life planning.
Yes. Students from nearly every kind of background choose to enroll in trade school or vocational college. It is a type of post-secondary institution that specializes in providing fast — and often hands-on — training in occupational fields that have a demand for qualified workers. However, many enrolled students share one thing in common: They often feel they do not necessarily fit the profile of the typical university student.
I have engaging and energizing presentations to aid trade school or vocational college faculty, staff and students, so they can stay focused, motivated, in school, and determined to succeed in the classroom/training — and after graduation; throughout life.
Yes. I can and will deliver your college/university commencement or special ceremony keynote address. I am very respectful when it comes to the time allotted to speak, use appropriate and engaging humor, and am well aware of the importance of the moment.
As soon as you engage me, I will begin my pre-program research by interviewing you briefly by phone, and then sending you a questionnaire to complete and return. I will ask you to email me any additional information on your meeting, conference, event, retreat or special program. Also, I may ask to interview one or two more people within your college/university or on your meeting planning team.
